A36 Steel and Metal Fabrication

A36 is a standard steel alloy that is great for welding and forming.   It is a structural grade steel and the standard was established by ASTM International.  A36 is available in bar stock, plate and many additional steel materials.  It has a tensile strength of 58,000 to 80,000 psi.  The general usage is in structural, base plates for many applications, machinery parts, automotive applications, frames, brackets, fixtures and more.

Noble Industries is a sheet metal fabricator and has been successfully  laser cutting and forming automotive aftermarket brackets for a customer located in the Midwest since 1975.  This customer orders 8 different brackets in A36 7 gauge and 5 brackets in A36 ¼ plate.  Another customer in Kentucky sends orders for welded A36 brackets as well as formed brackets.  One of our enclosure customers located in Indiana orders 12 different enclosure parts in A36 16 gauge material.

Today we ship between 10,000 to 20,000 lbs of A36 formed brackets and enclosure parts to automotive aftermarket, industrial and medical customers in Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio & Tennessee.  Our customers send these parts to their customers all over the United States, Canada, Mexico and throughout Europe.
